These prototype parts are initial manufacturing runs produced before final production. As the final design is often only marginally adjusted, they provide exceptional value compared to full-production units.

This part was intended for production but only worked with flat mudguards. The problem has since been solved with the current line mounts, so this design is no longer needed, though we still have a few. This model was used by Will Jones for his Fairlight build featured in Cycling News.
